What to Expect in the RAID Open Water Instructor Course

The RAID Open Water Instructor course is divided into theoretical and practical components, combining classroom education with real-world, in-water training to prepare you to teach the RAID Open Water Diver course effectively. Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to explain and demonstrate dive theory, how to conduct confined water training sessions, and how to safely guide your students on open water dives.

The main focus areas of the RAID Open Water Instructor course include:

  • Teaching Techniques and Methodology: Learn the best practices for teaching beginner divers. You will study how to break down complex concepts into easily understandable components, using simple instructions and demonstrations to ensure students grasp each step of the learning process.
